A. No, your private health information is completely confidential and will never be shared with your employer or Union Hall.
Q. Do covered members and dependents have to use the Union Family Health Center ™?
A. Yes, if you are a participant of the Union Family Health Center Plan or the Flex Plan. Participants of these plans you are required to receive primary care physician services from the Union Family Health Center ™. In addition, participants of these plans are required to receive a specialist referral from the center prior to receiving care from a specialist provider. If you are not enrolled in either of these plans, you may choose to utilize services at the health center or you may choose to continue with your current provider.
Q. What will be the cost to use the Union Family Health Center ™?
A. There will be no cost for covered members and dependents to visit a provider at the center, for prescriptions drugs dispensed at the center or for labs drawn at the center.
Q. What prescription drugs are dispensed at the Union Family Health Center ™?

Q. Will the Doctor and Nurse Practitioner be affiliated with a local hospital?
A. No, the doctor and nurse practitioner will be completely independent. As a result, referrals will be based on the facility that can provide the highest quality and most cost effective service.
Q. What is the telephone number for the Union Family Health Center ™?
A. You can reach the center 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. During normal business hours, you can directly reach staff at the center. After normal business hours (for urgent events), your call will be forwarded to a nurse on call who will be able to help assess your situation and offer guidance as needed. Q. What if I am a member or dependent but not on a plan with the Electrical Workers Health and Welfare Trust Fund?
A. The Union Family Health Center ™ is a convenience only for members and dependents who have obtained coverage through the Fund.
