Health & Wellness Center Team

Amy Casto, DO

Dr. Casto, board certified in family medicine, provides a full array of primary care services, including preventive care, acute care and chronic condition management. She has many years of family medicine experience, most recently in private practice. Dr. Casto holds a DO from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg and completed her residency at the Charleston Area Medical Center. Dr. Casto has three sons and spends her free time attending their sporting and band events. She is an avid runner and likes to hike, canoe and ski.

Chad Turner, MD

Dr. Turner is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He has over 10 years of experience delivering primary care in a variety of settings. In addition to direct patient care Dr. Turner has served as Director of Medical Education for the West Virginia Rural Health Partnership and as Medical Director for Cabin Creek Health Systems

Dr. Turner is a native West Virginian. He received his BA in Biology with high honors from West Virginia University and his Medical Degree from Marshall University School of Medicine. He did his Family Medicine Residency at the University of Colorado and served as Chief Resident in 2005.

Dr Turner lives with his wife who is also a family medicine physician and their three sons in Cross Lanes.

Dr. Turner will be overseeing as well as delivering care in the Union Health and Wellness Center. He will be working collaboratively with your Advanced Practitioner Kris Musick to make sure the needs of all the Center’s participants are met.

Kristopher Musick, PA-C

Kris Musick is certified as a Physician’s Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician’s Assistants and has over 15 years of clinical experience in a variety of settings including the emergency room, urgent care centers and office based family practice. Kris will be providing comprehensive clinical care to Center participants as well as the non-clinical support that can be so important to improving health and wellbeing. Kris will be collaborating with Dr. Turner and the other care team members to make sure the Center delivers exceptional care and an exceptional experience to its participants.

Kris attended Alderson-Broaddus College where he received his Physician’s Assistant Degree and subsequently a Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Kris attended Gauley Bridge High School, is a native West Virginian and lives in Hurricane with his family.
